Email to app

Email is one of your highest-ROI channels, until the click breaks. Singular keeps deep links working through ESP link wrapping, routes every subscriber to the right destination, and attributes installs and re-engagements back to the email that drove them.

Trusted to deliver the most extensive data, for optimized campaign performance

THE SINGULAR PROMISE

ESPs wrap every link for their own click tracking, which normally breaks deep linking and dumps subscribers on the mobile web. Singular preserves the deep link experience and measures every install and app open from email.

Keep deep links working through link wrapping

Singular’s ESP integrations use a deep-link-enabled click tracking domain, so wrapped links still open the app and land users on the right screen.

Work with the ESPs you already use

Purpose-built integrations cover leading platforms including Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, CleverTap, Bloomreach, and Amazon SES.

Route every subscriber correctly

Deep link your existing app users directly into the app. Send your subscribers without the app to your configured fallback, with deferred deep linking restoring their destination after install.

Measure your installs from email

Measure subscribers who install after clicking as installs attributed to the Singular Link in your email, so email finally gets credit for the app growth it drives.

Re-engagement of lapsed contacts

Measure returning users who open the app from an email as re-engagements, giving your lifecycle team a true read on email’s impact on retention.

Personalize destinations dynamically

Pass dynamic values like product IDs or geo from your email tool into Singular Links, so each subscriber lands on content that matches the email they received.

MARKETING TOOLKIT

Email journeys that end in the app, not the mobile web

Every email click becomes a measured, deep-linked journey into your app, with attribution your lifecycle and growth teams can both trust.

Data Foundation

Email tools wrap links for their own analytics, which breaks the app-domain association deep links depend on. Singular’s integrations with ESPs preserves the deep link experience, so your email readers go exactly where you, and they, want them to go.

Customer Experience

From inbox to the exact in-app screen

A subscriber who taps a product, offer, or piece of content in an email opens the app directly on that destination. No detour through the mobile web, no hunting for what they clicked.

Activation

Win back lapsed and app-less subscribers

Send re-engaged subscribers without the app installed to the store, and on first open, deferred deep linking delivers the destination from the original email, turning email lists into an install channel.

Omnichannel Measurement

Prove email’s impact on retention

Measure app opens driven by email to the specific Singular Link. Judge lifecycle campaigns on app behavior, not just opens and clicks.

Data Foundation

Use macros to pass values like product ID or country from your CRM or email tool into the link dynamically, keeping the core Singular Link structure unchanged while every subscriber gets a tailored destination.

Omnichannel Measurement

Email alongside every other channel

Installs, re-engagements, and downstream conversions from email appear in standard Singular reports with full link parameters, so email’s contribution sits next to paid, social, and owned channels.

Email to app FAQ

Email service providers wrap every link in your emails with their own click tracking domain so they can measure clicks. That wrapping breaks the app-domain association that iOS Universal Links and Android App Links require to open an app.

The result is a degraded journey: subscribers who tap a link meant to open the app get routed to the mobile web instead, losing the context and the conversion. It’s one of the most common silent leaks in lifecycle marketing.

Singular’s ESP integrations are based on a deep-link-enabled click tracking domain configured in your ESP. Your ESP continues to wrap links as usual, but the wrapped link still carries the deep link experience.

Subscribers with the app installed are deep linked directly into it. Subscribers without it are sent to the fallback configured in your Singular Link. You keep your ESP’s click analytics and get a working app journey at the same time.

Singular has purpose-built ESP attribution integrations for leading platforms including Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, HubSpot, CleverTap, Bloomreach, and Amazon SES.

Each integration follows the same model: your ESP wraps the Singular Link in your email, the deep link experience is preserved, and installs and re-engagements are attributed to the link. See the Singular Help Center for the setup guide for your specific ESP.

They’re redirected to the fallback configured in your Singular Link, typically the app store. If they install, the install is measured and attributed to the email’s Singular Link.

With deferred deep linking configured on the Singular Link, new users are taken to the destination you configured on their first app open, so a subscriber who clicked a specific offer can still land on that offer after installing.

Attribution for ESP emails works like any other Singular Links attribution. Installs are attributed to the link, app opens by existing users are measured as re-engagements, and all link parameters flow through to reporting.

That means you can analyze email performance at the campaign, template, or link level, and compare email-driven users against every other acquisition and re-engagement channel with the same cohorted metrics.

Yes. Singular Links support dynamic parameters, so you can pass values like a product ID, category, or country from your email tool or CRM into the link at send time.

The core link structure stays the same while each subscriber is deep linked to content matching the email they received, which is how teams run personalized lifecycle campaigns without generating thousands of one-off links.
