    We are looking for a Controller to take responsibility for all aspects of our general ledger accounting, technical accounting, and internal and external reporting processes. The successful candidate will have the ability and leadership skills required to implement the procedures, processes, and systems needed to enable us to meet the operational, reporting and other requirements of a growing business.

    The Controller must be both a strategic thinker and have the ability to execute on the day-to-day activities.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Provide hands-on leadership and operational excellence in owning all financial aspects of a rapid growth business, including day-to-day accounting activities, closing revenue cycles and all associated reporting and reconciliations including posting journal entries

    • Execute all aspects of accounts payable processing including data entry, reconciliation of vendor invoices and partner royalty revenue reports, and timely payment

    • Manage the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting packages

    • Work with FP&A to analyze trends, revenue recognition and investigate variances to forecast

    • Ensure accurate GAAP reporting

    • Manage audit and taxation in multiple states and countries

    • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information

    • Effectively communicate and resolve complex accounting and business operations issues

    • Manage company benefits and payroll as well as stock plan

    The successful candidate will have:

    • 7+ years experience in bookkeeping and/or accounting experience including journal entries, accounts payable, accounts receivable and preparing analyses and reconciliations

    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is required

    • CPA or equivalent experience required

    • SaaS experience required

    • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and experienced in ASC 605-25 and ASC 985-605.

    • Knowledge of ERP systems (e.g. Quickbooks or Netsuite)

    • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills required with SQL a plus

    • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy in performing all essential duties

    • Strong organizational skills & attention to detail with the ability to manage priorities and execute in a fast-paced environment

    • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.  Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of management and cross functional organizations
